These terms cover your use of ownerdependencytax.com and the assessment, report, payment, and coaching tools linked from it, operated by Joe Lorenz ("ODT," "we," "us"). By using this site — including submitting an assessment, registering for updates, or purchasing a report — you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
When you submit an assessment or registration form with your email, we automatically create an account for you under that email — you don't fill out a separate signup form. This lets you come back later, using a sign-in link sent to that email, to pick up an in-progress paid assessment or see your results and progress over time. No password is ever set or required.
Because accounts are created this way, please only submit an email address you control. If you believe an account was created using your email without your involvement, contact us (below) and we'll remove it.
The ODT assessment, scores, and reports (free or paid) are provided for general informational and educational purposes about your business. They are not financial, legal, tax, or valuation advice, and no professional relationship is formed by using them. Decisions about your business remain yours.
The paid Complete Assessment is a one-time purchase processed by Stripe. We don't store your card details — Stripe handles payment directly. Purchases are described at checkout; contact us if you believe you were charged in error.
We'll always send you emails required to deliver something you asked for — your results, your report, a sign-in link, or a receipt. If you also opt in to occasional updates (e.g. about the book or related resources), you can unsubscribe at any time; doing so won't affect the transactional emails above.
Don't use this site to submit false information on someone else's behalf without their knowledge, attempt to disrupt or abuse the assessment or coaching tools, or use any output from this site to make representations to a third party (e.g. a buyer or lender) that misstate what it is.
This site and its tools are provided "as is." We don't guarantee the assessment, scoring, or generated reports are error-free or fit for any particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of this site.
We may update these terms as the site changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date above.
